Getting Started
What is thola.?
thola. is a business listing platform that helps South African SMMEs and big businesses connect with customers. We provide a comprehensive directory where businesses can showcase their services, products, and locations.
How do I list my business on thola.?
Simply create an account, choose your subscription plan, and fill out the business listing form with your details. Your listing will be reviewed and published within 24-48 hours.
Is there a free plan available?
Yes! We offer a Free plan that allows you to list your business with basic features. Upgrade to Basic or Pro plans for enhanced visibility and additional features.
How long does it take for my listing to go live?
Most listings are reviewed and approved within 24-48 hours during business days. You'll receive an email notification once your listing is live.
Pricing & Payments
What are the different subscription plans?
We offer three plans: Free (basic listing), Basic (R499/year with enhanced features), and Pro (R999/year with premium features including featured placement and priority support).
Is there a long-term contract?
Yes, we offer a 12-month billing cycle for all plans. This helps us provide you with the best value and consistent service throughout the year.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and EFT payments through our secure payment partner Yoco.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, you can upgrade your plan at any time. For downgrades, changes will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
Do you offer refunds?
All subscription fees are non-refundable. However, if you experience technical issues preventing you from using our service, please contact our support team.
Managing Your Listing
Can I edit my business listing after it's published?
Yes! You can edit your business information anytime through your dashboard. Changes are reflected immediately after saving.
What information should I include in my business listing?
Include your business name, description, category, location, contact information, operating hours, and high-quality images. The more detailed your listing, the better customers can find and connect with you.
How many images can I upload?
Free plan allows up to 3 images, Basic plan allows up to 6 images, and Pro plan allows up to 12 images per listing.
Can I add multiple business locations?
Each subscription covers one business location. To list multiple locations, you'll need separate subscriptions for each location.
How do I delete my business listing?
You can delete your listing from your dashboard settings. Alternatively, contact our support team at info@thola.co.za for assistance.
Features & Benefits
What's the difference between Basic and Pro plans?
Pro plans include featured placement on homepage, priority in search results, up to 12 photos, social media integration, analytics dashboard, and priority support. Basic plans include standard listing with up to 6 photos.
Will my business appear on Google search?
Yes! All listings on thola. are indexed by search engines, helping improve your online visibility and making it easier for customers to find you.
Can customers contact me directly through my listing?
Yes, customers can contact you via phone, email, or through your website link that's displayed on your listing.
Do you offer analytics for my listing?
Pro plan subscribers get access to detailed analytics showing listing views, clicks, and customer engagement metrics.

What if I forget my password?
Click the 'Forgot Password?' link on the login page, enter your registered email address, and we'll send you a password reset link. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password. The reset link expires after 24 hours for security.
My listing isn't showing up in search results. Why?
Ensure your listing is complete with accurate category, location, and description. It may take a few days for new listings to be fully indexed by our search system.
Can I temporarily pause my listing?
Yes, you can temporarily hide your listing from your dashboard without canceling your subscription. This is useful if you're temporarily closed or not accepting new customers.
Account & Security
How do I change my account email?
You can update your email address from your account settings in the dashboard. You'll need to verify the new email address.
What if I forget my password?
Click the 'Forgot Password?' link on the login page, enter your registered email address, and we'll send you a password reset link. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password. The reset link expires after 24 hours for security.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes, all payment information is processed securely through our certified payment partner Yoco. We never store your complete card details on our servers.
Can I have multiple users manage my listing?
Currently, each account is managed by a single user. For multi-user access, please contact our support team to discuss custom solutions.
What happens to my listing if I cancel my subscription?
If you cancel a paid subscription, your listing will remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which it will be converted to the Free plan with limited features.
